In the two decades since launching S.T.E.A.M.®, the world has become even more complicated; a burst of technological innovation has translated into more mediums for intolerance, more uncertainty about ethics, and even less substantive discussion of complicated issues, particularly among those who may disagree. Throw in a once in a generation global pandemic, and in-person gatherings seem as burdensome as ever!
We can therefore think of no more pressing time to ensure that even if you can't come to S.T.E.A.M.®, S.T.E.A.M.® can come to you!
Unencumbered by the logistical complexities of organizing and scheduling formal S.T.E.A.M.® presentations with guest speakers and COVID-19 protocols, a S.T.E.A.M.® curriculum guide will enable a meaningful discussion of ethical issues to be accessible and affordable to all.
